Description

In 1992, Camp Westmont moved across the lake into a new home and a new icon was born. Popeyes, the 14 room, private bunk was home to the oldest boys on camp and every camper wanted to stay there for the summer.

Knocked down in 2013, Popeyes lives on in photo albums and in the minds of alumni all over the world.

And now, for the first time, Popeyes has been immortalized as a work of art.

Adam Port, a professional artist and a Camp Westmont Alumni (Popeyes ’93-94) got his start as an artist working on Color War plaques. 3 of Adam’s plaques were painted up on the hill.

This drawing measures 10”x24” and was created with black and white pencils on grey paper.
